2026 Bond Information
Palmer Public Schools

On July 14, our community will decide on urgent facility needs for Palmer Public Schools
Investing in Our Community
and Our Students

On July 14, Palmer Public Schools voters will consider a bond proposal focused on improving student safety, updating aging facilities, and creating space to support growing educational and program needs.

The proposed project includes:
-
A secure main entrance
-
A storm shelter accessible to all students and staff
-
Four new classrooms to support enrollment growth
-
Renovated spaces for student programs and support services
-
A second gymnasium with locker rooms
-
Safer access and circulation around campus
Opportunity knocks… the Roy and Gloria Dinsdale Foundation has pledged $5,000,000 toward this project, which has already been factored into the bond amount. However, this generous gift comes with one important condition — the community must show its support by passing the bond. The Foundation’s goal is to partner with our community, not fund the project alone. If the bond does not pass, the donation will not be given.
Together, the community’s support and the Foundation’s gift make the full project possible. This opportunity only exists if we choose to support it together.

Why Now?
The district faces increasing demands for student support services, classroom space, safety and security, and flexible learning environments.
Community feedback played an important role in shaping the current proposal. The district focused the plan on the community’s highest-priority facility, safety, and classroom needs.
